Trinnov Audio, Seymour-Screen Excellence, madVR Labs, Perlisten, Kaleidescape, Barco Residential And Officina Acustical Home Theater Demo At CEDIA Expo 2024

This year’s most ambitious private cinema at the CEDIA Expo is the one spearheaded by Trinnov Audio. Along with partners representing the highest levels of performance available today, Trinnov will present its revolutionary WaveFormingTM Technology in a demonstration combining the precision of a HiFi system with the power of a reference Home Theater and a level of video quality never before experienced at Expo.

In a custom theater designed by and constructed on site by Officina Acustica, an 11.14.6 Perlisten loudspeaker system will be powered by Trinnov processing and amplification. Defining best-in-class video will be delivered by Barco, madVR Labs and Seymour Screen Excellence. As always, Kaleidescape will deliver impeccable music and film source material.

Exceeding the performance of last year’s Best In Show presentation, the demo system brings together the industry’s top manufacturers for a true reference level immersive experience that showcases to attendees today’s best-of-breed private cinema systems. Refreshments will be served.

Product Presentation

Executives from Trinnov Audio, Perlisten, madVR Labs, Kaleidescape, Barco, Seymour-Screen Excellence and Officina Acustica will be making product presentations and answering questions.

Trinnov Audio’s Altitude32, the unchallenged reference processor for immersive audio systems, is the heart of the system, capable of processing all 35 channels of residential Dolby Atmos processing. It will provide the sonic benefits of Trinnov’s Loudspeaker/Room Optimizer, including the recently released WaveForming technology.

Trinnov’s Amplitude16 powers the system’s loudspeakers. On a 3RU chassis, it delivers 200 Watts per channel to 16 channels and provides integrators with the option to bridge any or all pairs of amplifier channels to increase the available power for specific channels. In bridged mode, the output increases to 800 Waatts per channel at 8 Ohms and over 1,000 Watts per channel at 4 Ohms.

Perlisten presents cinematic experience that goes beyond the ordinary. At Perlisten, sound is more than just an experience –– it’s an art form. Perlisten’s commitment to excellence and innovation has set a new benchmark in the world of loudspeaker technology, delivering an unparalleled auditory experience that redefines what you expect from high-fidelity sound. Their Cedia 2024 system features no less than 33 channels, with Perlisten S7t Limited Edition LCRs, S5i Surrounds, and S4s Top Loudspeakers, not to mention an impressive 14 D215s Push-Pull Design Active Subwoofers, featuring dual 15-inch woofers. Each D215s is powered by a 3,000 Watt amplifier.

madVR Labs' Envy Extreme MK2 video processor will deliver best-in-class dynamic HDR tone mapping, along with its groundbreaking MotionAITM –– the world's first AI-based motion interpolation in a dedicated processor. With MotionAI, the Envy Extreme MK2 provides an unparalleled cinematic experience, combining the ultimate image clarity and detail with exceptional motion handling, all while still preserving the original cinematic look and honoring director's intent. The company will also debut the Envy Core, its latest budget-friendly model for more modest setups.

Barco Residential is providing a Nerthus DCI projector. With 32,000 lumens it delivers the brightness needed for the most dynamic HDR reproduction. The latest VHC lens design provides high contrast and is a perfect match to the latest native 4K DLP Cinema® chips. The RGB laser design provides 100 percent BT2020 coverage, insuring that all colors will be faithfully reproduced in this spectacular demonstration.

Seymour-Screen Excellence brings best practices in both video and audio. A cinematic size and proper location, combined with the acoustic best practices of enabling the audio to be perfectly matched and located like the mastering studios, ensure there is no compromise in the experience. The Enlightor-Neo is the only acoustically transparent screen material with no minimal seating distance, audibly flat frequency response, and ability to resolve interpixel details.

Officina Acustica are the Italian manufacturer of the world’s best acoustically optimized bespoke interiors for private cinemas and screening rooms. Their unique construction method integrates the acoustics into the heart of the engineered room build system. No other ‘acoustic treatment’ is necessary as the room is not acoustically sick in the first place. This demo room for 2024 with our exceptional partners Trinnov, Perlisten, Barco and Kaleidescape was hand crafted in Italy, then built on the show floor in under three days; A testament to the modularity and extremely predictable build method. The room itself is 50 percent of the sound and with Officina Acustica, acoustics are extremely controlled, but the room still feels very comfortable and human centric.
