LG SMART TVS ADD SUPPORT FOR FACEBOOK WATCH TV APP

LG Electronics USA is launching support for the Facebook Watch TV app on all its webOS smart TVs produced 2014 through 2020 in all countries where Facebook Watch is available. With the app’s arrival, LG TV owners can now effortlessly discover and watch videos they love based on their interests and social connections on Facebook. The Facebook Watch TV app is available for download at the LG Content Store.

Launched globally in 2018, Facebook Watch attracts more than 1.25 billion viewers per month. The Facebook Watch TV app lets LG smart TV users enjoy Facebook videos tailored to their interests and connections. Users will see videos related to Pages or Topics they follow, as well as recommendations based on what their Facebook friends are reacting to. Across trending moments, their favorite creators, the latest news content, sports highlights, live videos, original shows and more, there’s always something new to easily discover.

Users can immediately enjoy and discover new content on compatible LG TVs, including:

·Facebook Originals such as Red Table Talk, covering today’s most compelling social issues in real time with Jada Pinkett Smith; the recently-launched Red Table Talk: The Estefans with Gloria Estefan giving a whole new take on the iconic Red Table; the daytime Emmy-winning show, Returning the Favor, with Mike Rowe who spotlights everyday heroes; and Steve Harvey’s talk show, STEVE on Watch, bringing you the latest celebrity interviews and news.

·Live gaming streams and previously-recorded videos from popular Facebook Gaming creators, as well as livestreamed tournaments.

·Music videos from today’s top artists to up-and-coming bands and classics across various genres. Watch videos you’ve saved, shared, or uploaded to Facebook.
