Sony Debuts New Collection Of Online Resources For A/V Architects, Consultants, Engineers, Designers, Integrators

Sony is enhancing its collaboration and expanding its relationships within the professional community by offering valuable tools through a dedicated user portal and presence on the BIMobject Content Platform.

BIMobject, the world’s leading Building Information Management (BIM) content platform, now showcases content dedicated to Sony’s A/V solutions. Access to information including 2D and 3D CAD drawings, Revit geometric data files, A&E specs, and more is now available to professionals to use as they plan and implement a project.

As an additional way to align with the community, Sony has launched an Architects, Consultants & Engineers (ACE) Portal, which provides critical resources related to the company’s vast portfolio of Large Display offerings and Imaging and Analytics products and solutions.

Created with input and insight from Sony’s users and partners, the site features materials including product technical information and configuration tools for consultants to create application simulations for their end users, as well as case studies, white papers, knowledge, webinars and more, to educate and connect architects, consultants, or A/V design engineers with the necessary tools to maximize their time and productivity before, during and after a project comes together. This all-inclusive portal arms professionals with the detailed and relevant technical assets needed to strategically plan for, win and outfit projects.

The ACE Portal is comprised of three distinct areas. The Large Display Products Resource Center, which features a BIM content library, in addition to information on Sony’s Crystal LED display system and a Crystal LED configurator, Sony’s 4K Pro SXRD and business projectors, including a projection simulator, as well as Sony’s Pro BRAVIA lineup and TEOS workplace management solution.

The Imaging and Analytics Resource Center provides a BIM content library, and content related to Sony’s beamforming microphone, Edge Analytics, and network cameras, and also includes a network camera lens calculator. The Consultant Solutions Resource Center is comprised of case studies, brochures, operating manuals, software, firmware, drivers, diagrams, knowledge and technology webinars.

Together, these two new offerings provide Sony’s valued partners with a simple and informed way to bring the latest professional technologies to their projects, while enhancing and adding value to their relationship with the company.
