 Bang & Olufsen is thrilled to announce Beosound Balance, its newest flexible loudspeaker with unprecedented powerful sound and a shape so gorgeous, it doubles as sculpture. Designed in collaboration with Benjamin Hubert of renowned strategic design agency LAYER, Beosound Balance was created with both passionate aesthetes and audiophiles in mind – bringing Bang & Olufsen’s characteristic beautiful sound, timeless design, and unparalleled craftsmanship to a shelf-friendly speaker that is as beautiful as it is functional.

Beosound Balance Features:

• Seven uniquely configured speaker drivers with two opposing woofers that generate a powerful bass, canceling out vibrations.
• Two sound modes – omni-directional mode, ensuring a uniform, 360-degree sound experience; and sound mode, delivering unique and precisely-focused ambient sound experience – for innovative and flexible acoustics you can customize to your living space and speaker placement
• Active room compensation, allowing the speaker to analyze your room with an internal microphone and creates a set of user defined filters that compensates for sound reflections in your home.
• Multiroom functionality & voice control, supporting Google Chromecast, Apple Airplay2 and Spotify Connect.

Beosound Balance will be available on March 5 on www.bang-olufsen.com, in Bang & Olufsen stores and select third-party retailers. Launching in Natural Oak and Black Oak, the speaker retails for $2,250.
