D-BOX Technologies Introduces Motion Technology At A First Theater Location In Quebec

"Cinéma Beloeil" will become the first theater in Quebec and the second in Canada to feature the innovative motion-enhanced experience

D-BOX Technologies Inc. (DBO.A on the TSX Venture Exchange), a leader in innovative motion technology for the entertainment industry announced today the conclusion of an agreement with "Cinéma Beloeil" , located in the suburbs of Montreal by which 26 motion-enhanced seats will be installed.

Each movie is encoded frame by frame, using the proprietary D-BOX Motion Code(TM) technology which produces customized movements in perfect sync with the onscreen action offering moviegoers an unmatched, realistic immersive experience.

Since its World Première last April in Hollywood, D-BOX continues to progress rapidly, having now equipped seven movie theaters in the United-States and Canada. "Cinéma Beloeil" is the first theater in Quebec to integrate D-BOX motion systems.

"We are excessively proud to announce a first theater in Quebec as we have experienced rapid growth in the movie theater segment over the last few months. This new theater is an excellent addition to our existing network, at last allowing moviegoers in Quebec to experiment this innovative technology." stated Claude Mc Master, President and Chief Executive Officer of D-BOX Technologies.

"In line with our vision to always be at the forefront of new technologies, as we are already offering our moviegoers digital and 3D presentations, it is with tremendous pleasure that we are adding the extraordinary D-BOX experience, " added Mr. Jean Colbert, President of "Cinéma Beloeil"

In addition to "Cinéma Beloeil", D-BOX motion systems are presently available at seven theatres throughout the U.S. and Canada, including Cineplex Odeon Queensway Theatre in Etobicoke, Ontario; Mann Chinese 6 Theatre in Los Angeles, California; Theatres at Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota.; Galaxy at the Cannery in Las Vegas, Nevada.; Galaxy Highland Theatre in Austin, Texas.; UltraStar Cinemas in Surprise, Arizona.; and UltraStar Apple Valley in San Bernardino, California. Reason #81 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:

I saw my first issue in a newsstand two years ago. The movie reviews caught my attention right away. They were extremely thorough with their inclusion of such items as release dates, aspect ratios, and list of main creators like cinematographer, director, and writers. The breakdown of the critic's composite score is very telling and useful. Equipment reviews are extremely comprehensive and tend to cover a greater range of brands than most publications. One Installer's Opinion is a gem. I've been a subscriber for over a year now and have two of your special publications, both of which are first rate. You seem to be a couple of months ahead of your rival publications with reviews, and new equipment announcements are testament to the quality and dedication of your staff. I'm eagerly looking forward to the next issue as always.
