ELAC Introduces CINEMA XL Home Theatre Speaker System

ELAC has introduced the new, all-aluminum CINEMA XL home theatre speaker system. The system includes four satellite speakers and a matching center channel speaker, all in a modern brushed-aluminum chassis featuring high-tech drivers and mounting hardware.The satellite CINEMA 2 SAT features a 19 mm mylar ring dome tweeter with wave guide and integrated phaser for optimum dispersion up to 21 kHz. The 80mm woofer is provided with a long-life rubber surround and cellulose damped cone.The CINEMA XL CENTER features a new type of wall bracket for discreet and easy mounting.All speakers are magnetically shielded and are provided with an integrated high-pass filter. The input speaker terminals feature large and inclined sockets, suitable for cable diameters of up to 4mm.The ELAC SUB 101 features the company's proprietary ESP, a frequency- and power-dependent control system. ESP performs like a car, where the electronic stabilization program permanently controls the balance and ensures reliable performance, even in extreme situations, ESP is designed to ensure that even under maximum power, no background noises can be detected. According to the company, it is now practically impossible to overdrive ELAC ESP subwoofers.
