Today, McIntosh Laboratory, Inc., the premier name in audio excellence, proudly announces the launch of its MX200 A/V Processor. Merging cutting-edge technology with unmatched performance, this powerhouse processor redefines the boundaries of at-home cinema entertainment. Highly versatile, the MX200 A/V Processor offers up to 11.2 channels of signal processing and can adapt seamlessly to various home theater configurations, ranging from 5.1 all the way up to 7.2.4 surround sound speaker arrangements.

Designed to effortlessly cater to both DIY enthusiasts and seasoned professional integrators as part of a custom install project, the MX200 boasts a sleek, streamlined design that complements any home entertainment space. Whether users are indulging in their favorite 8K, 4K, or HD content from streaming services or diving into the depths of Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD discs, the MX200 delivers a captivating audiovisual journey like no other. With support for immersive audio formats such as Dolby® Atmos and DTS:X™, every viewing experience becomes a masterpiece of sound and vision. A RANGE OF CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS

The meticulously engineered MX200 ensures every detail of cinematic content shines with brilliance. A wide variety of analog and digital inputs and outputs are included, providing flexibility to create a custom home entertainment system.

-          Four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output support pristine 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video and are compatible with HDCP 2.3; High Dynamic Range (HDR) formats Dolby Vision™, HDR10+, and HLG; 4:4:4 color spacing; Rec. 2020; and 3D video pass-through1

-          The HDMI output features enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) functionality to unleash the full potential of high-resolution audio formats with supreme clarity and fidelity2

-          Digital audio inputs include two coax and two optical to connect additional audio devices such as a CD player, tuner, or music streamer

o   Seven premium 32-bit Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) provide audiophile grade processing

-          Analog audio inputs include a Moving Magnet phono input to connect a turntable, along with a pair of balanced and unbalanced auxiliary inputs to connect other audio devices

-          To connect to home theater amplifier(s), the MX200 has 11 discrete balanced outputs and two discrete unbalanced subwoofer outputs

-           Bass and Treble tone controls can help finetune the audio to anyone’s personal preferences

-          With compact 2U rack size and rack mounting brackets included, it can also be seamlessly integrated into an A/V equipment rack as a part of a custom installation home theater project

-          Pre-configuration opportunities with integrators allow them to simply load the file at installation

-          Backup options via computer or USB stick provide the freedom for users or integrators to experiment with different configuration file settings

-          Operational via a remote control or home automation system integration via RS232 control protocol

-          Has received Control4 Certification from Control4® and Works with Crestron Home Certification
