Onkyo USA has announced that the firmware update enabling compatibility between select A/V receivers and the Sonos ecosystem is now available at https://www.onkyousa.com/sonos/.
The following “Works with Sonos” certified models can now be integrated with the Sonos platform via the Sonos Connect:

The new firmware enables users to seamlessly stream music from their Sonos app to their receiver allowing them to enjoy music anywhere including their home theater. Once the receiver is connected to a Sonos Connect, owners will be able to send any music or source on their Sonos app to the receiver. The receiver can be grouped to other Sonos devices on the network or it can be used independently.
