DTS: After Chinese Debut, Look For More X In The U.S.

The first film in America with DTS:X (American Ultra) hit theaters in late August, and two more are out soon (Sicario on Sept. 18 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 on Nov. 13; America Ultra was released Aug. 21). But it was China to first get the new, next-gen, object-based, multi-dimensional audio technology in theaters, and already more than 15 theaters there have been outfitted with the necessary audio equipment.
