SIM2 USA, the sister company of SIM2 Multimedia, the Italian manufacturer of projectors, has announced the next generation of three-chip, DLP-based
projectors for home cinema.
Designed to provide a professional Hollywood moviemaker experience, the
new Grand Cinema projectors, according to the company, incorporate the latest in high-performance projection technology and SIM2’s expertise.
The six new models that make up the Grand Cinema series are the LUMIS
UNO E, LUMIS 3D-PF, SUPERLUMIS, SUPERLUMIS Pro, SUPERLUMIS
DUO, and the ultra-exclusive, limited-edition FUORISERIE. Prices range
from $26,000 for the entry-level LUMIS UNO E, to $120,000 for the
SUPERLUMIS DUO.
The new Grand Cinema models use SIM2’s proprietary design, three-chip
DLP architecture and are filled with technological advances, including
(depending on the model) new connectivity, selected components, remote
monitoring and control, and much, much more.
Intended specifically for people who appreciate perfect hi-tech craftsmanship
and state-of-the-art image quality, the Grand Cinema projectors rely on a
combination of proprietary electronics, processing, and high-power lamps to
deliver stunningly bright images (up to 10,000 ANSI lumens) without
compromising colorimetry or contrast ratio.
“SIM2’s unparalleled success in home cinema now continues with the new
Grand Cinema series,” says Maurizio Cini, President. “These new models
also renew our commitment to our dealer partners to provide competitively
priced, innovative and powerful projectors that produce exceptional Hollywood
picture quality.”
Commercially available from the end of February, SIM2’s new Grand Cinema
series will be showcased on March 4, 2014 at the Luxury Technology Show,
at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street, in New York City.
