WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Based on the story by Ryuzo Kikushima and Akira Kurosawa, Last Man Standing is an action-filled story placed at the height of America’s turbulent prohibition era. When the sleepy border town of Jerhico is corrupted by gun-toting mobs from Chicago, the leaders of Jerhico’s rival crime families battle for control over a lucrative bounty of booze. But when John Smith (Willis) decides to cash in on the action, he cleverly hires himself out to each gang while remaining loyal to no one but himself.
