Return of Martin Guerre, The

Based on the timeless love story and gripping trial that took place in the mid-1500s and shot forty kilometers from the actual town of the story, Depardieu stars as Martin Guerre, a troubled young man who disappears for nine years after he marries Bertrande de Rois (Baye).
