Story Synopsis:
Hackers is a high-tech, fast-paced thriller about a young computer hacker (Jonny Lee Miller) and a group of teenage computer whizzes whose pranks tap them into a high-tech embezzling scheme masked by a virus that could cause a horrific environmental disaster.
LaserDisc Picture:
The Panavision® 2.35:1 picture is sharp and detailed and exhibits excellent contrast and shadow detail. Colors are vivid with natural fleshtones and deep, solid blacks. The picture has virtually no noise, but some minor artifacts.
LaserDisc Soundtrack:
An aggressive surround with deep bass extension is complemented with scene defining frontal soundstage enhancements provided by directional off screen dialogue and sound effects, and an enveloping music score.
