WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
If you get the feeling you’ve seen the story of “10 Things I Hate About You” before, maybe you’re thinking of Shakespeare’s “The Taming Of The Shrew.” The setting is different, but the concept is the same. Highschooler Cameron (Gordon-Levitt) falls for sweet Bianca Stratford (Oleynik), but she can’t date until her older sister does. Unfortunately, her sister Kat (Stiles) is the school’s number one ill-tempered angry young grrrl and there’s only one guy who can rein her in: Patrick Verona (Ledger) a loner with a really bad rep. Smart dialogue, terrific acting and great music make this one to see.
