Story Synopsis:
Small-town girl Maggie Carpenter (Roberts) has built a reputation for getting close to the altar, but, for one reason or another, quickly becomes the Runaway Bride every time. Richard Gere plays Ike Graham, a cynical newspaperman who is looking to write an exposé of Maggie and her exploits but soon finds himself falling for the her just like all the rest.
