WSR Narrative Review |

Story Synopsis:
Curdled is a cutting-edge thriller that features William Baldwin as Paul Guell, a seductive mass murderer, known to Miami residents as the Blue Blood Killer who preys on beautiful wealthy women. When one of his victims leaves crucial evidence that links him to the crime, it is uncovered by Gabriela (Angela Jones), a young woman who not only works for Post Forensic Cleaning Service, but like the Blue Blood Killer, is obsessed with murder. When Guell meets Gabriela, he never could have guessed that he met his match.
LaserDisc Picture:
The 1.82:1 picture exhibits generally good color fidelity that appears slightly oversaturated, but presents rich and vibrant colors, natural fleshtones and deep, solid blacks. Images are generally sharp and detailed with good shadow detail and contrast. Sometimes scenes are a bit hazy in focus. Slight noise is apparent, but there are no artifacts.
LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby® Surround matrix soundtrack has an expansive and nicely recorded music score. Dialogue sounds natural throughout with excellent spatial integration, though levels are inconsistent. Directional effects are occasionally heard and surround envelopment is subtle, though effectively presented
