WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Beatty and Benning star as two strangers who meet on a cruise following a plane crash. They fall in love, even though they are both engaged to others. To test their love, they decide to meet, after three months of no contact, on the top of the Empire State Building if their love stands strong. The ending will leave a lump in your throat.

LaserDisc Picture:
The matted 1.95:1 picture is extremely soft lacking detail. Fleshtones are inconsistent and the color fidelity is hyped for a colorized look. Slight grain and noise is apparent throughout but there are no distracting artifacts.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The soundtrack has an occasional subtle surround effect but otherwise mono.
