Story Synopsis:
Cliffhanger is an explosive action thriller from director Renny Harlin. It is one incredible production with its visually stunning on location filming on the spectacular Dolomite mountain range at an elevation of 13,000 feet above Cortina, Italy. This is a nerve-shuddering adventure peaked with merciless terrorist suspense in which Sylvester Stallone plays a mountain rescue team member who is called upon to face off with a villainous crime lord, chillingly portrayed by John Lithgow.
