Story Synopsis:
8 Seconds is based on the true story of legendary young bull-rider Lane Frost who fights to achieve his childhood dreams on his road to fame as a bull-riding champion in the rodeo circuit. Luke Perry plays Lane, a decent young man with high ideals and a goal to succeed as a rodeo star. With his companions Tuff Hedeman (Stephen Baldwin) and Cody Lambert (Red Mitchell) he tours the bull-riding circuit and quickly be-comes a legend, winning many competitions and becoming the first out of 334 to ever ride the Red Rock bull in 8 seconds.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture has been matted at 1.85:1. Images are rendered with vivid color and a natural look. Fleshtones are slightly discolored having an orange hue. Otherwise the image is solid with no artifacts.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The soundtrack features a country and western score by Boll Conti with guest performers Vince Gill and Reba McEntire. Minimal surrounds and the dialogue is a bit subdued or harsh in some scenes.
