WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
A tale of a journey down the treacherous Mississippi River and through America by a poor white mischievous adolescent, Huck Finn, and an older runaway black slave. Mark Twain’s wonderfully serious novel about our culture’s controversial and complex moral code has been well adapted here by Disney.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture quality is outstanding, always sharp with excellent scene-to-scene color balance and natural fleshtones. It has been matted at 1.75:1, an often used Disney ratio.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The soundtrack has good stereo definition and surround envelopment with a fluid and well recorded orchestral score by Bill Conti.
