WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Stay Tuned is a slyly satirized lesson in watching too much TV. The prize is a hilariously bizarre TV world on the other side of the tube that has its moments of hilarious scenes that are based on a parity of recognizable television series and movies.

LaserDisc Picture:
This comedy adventure is well composed in a Super 35 format and has been transferred at the proper 2.35:1 aspect ratio. Color fidelity is excellent throughout. The colors are vivid and black is deep black.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby SR® produced soundtrack has an aggressive Dolby Surround® mix. Bruce Broughton’s music score is a varied mix of styles and is well recorded with excellent bass extension. The surround envelopes and is felt throughout, added by excellent sonic effects which pull you into the outrageous action sequences.
