WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
A hilarious comedy about a bright teenage girl who finds out that her father is not dead after all but is an anonymous sperm bank donor and is alive and well. The complications really arise when the girl introduces him to her mom (Goldberg) with the hopes they’ll resolve their differences. Ted Dawson plays the new-found father.

LaserDisc Picture:
Rich saturated color and sharp clear images make this a virtually flawless picture. Contrast is excellent as is image detail. There is not a trace of noise artifacts. The matted transfer is 1.93:1.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby Surround® effects are subtle but effective overall, especially with the presence of Mark Isham wonderful score.
