Steve (Russell) and Josie (Preston) Stronghold aren't your average all-American couple, they're a special pair of superheroes who are admired by all. Their son Will (Angarano) has more than his work cut out for him in living up to everyone's expectations by following in their footsteps. But after starting school at "Sky High," it becomes obvious that Will has no powers at all and is relegated as a "sidekick" instead of a "hero." After finally finding his powers, Will's dad is thrilled, but Will discovers that being a hero isn't always what it's cracked up to be. (Tricia Spears)

Except for the Movie Showcase, the other special features appear on the DVD: an alternate opening, the 15-minute behind-the-scenes "Welcome To Sky High" featurette, the seven-minute "Breaking Down Walls: The Stunts Of Sky High" featurette, and up-front ads.

The 2.40:1 Blu-ray Disc exhibits a slightly soft appearance, but colors are nicely rendered. Balance is slightly off, and fleshtones trend slightly toward red. (Danny Richelieu)

The uncompressed linear PCM 5.1-channel soundtrack has improved fidelity over the Dolby® Digital encoding, with tighter, more realistic bass, and less distorted dialogue. (Danny Richelieu)
