    Having fled his native Mexico ten years ago with soccer ball in hand, Santiago's (Becker) love for the game and dream of becoming a professional player has finally come to fruition. He is scouted by New Castle United's Glen Foy (Dillane) and given a chance to try out to achieve his Goal! (Jack Kelley)

    Special features include the same audio commentary track as found on the DVD, a Movie Showcase, an 11-minute featurette Behind The Pitch, and up-front ads.

    The stylized 2.38:1 Blu-ray Disc exhibits well-resolved details and deep blacks. Shadow delineation is slightly lacking though, which can remove detail in the darkest scenes, and some scenes can look rather soft. Unlike the DVD, edge enhancement and pixilation are not problems.     The uncompressed linear PCM 5.1-channel soundtrack has very good dynamic range. The mix is engaging, with each of the available channels used consistently. A high-pitched ringing and some clipping distortion can be heard throughout the presentation. (Danny Richelieu)
