"Blended" follows the events after a disastrous blind date in which single parents Lauren (Barrymore) and Jim (Sandler) agree on only one thing: they never want to see each other again. But when they each sign up separately for a fabulous family vacation with their kids, they are all stuck sharing a suite at a luxurious African safari resort for a week. (Gary Reber)

The 1080p AVC picture was photographed using the Arri Alexa XT digital camera and exhibits a bright, vivid, and colorful appearance throughout. The color palette is fully saturated with bold hues that pop off the screen. Contrast is excellent with deep, solid blacks and revealing shadow delineation. Fleshtones are healthily hued and generally appear natural against a background of intense color. Resolution is excellent, with fine detail exhibited in facial features, hair, clothing, and object texture. This is a vibrant, saturated stylization that actuates the imagery. (Gary Reber)
The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is primarily frontal focused, with dialogue forward sounding throughout. Atmospherics provide a sense of environment with subtle surround immersion. The Africian-tinged music score is well recorded and provides energy and surround engagement. Deep bass is limited. Overall, this is "produced"-sounding soundtrack that is lively. (Gary Reber)
