In "Keeper," a romantic anniversary trip to a secluded cabin turns sinister when a dark presence reveals itself, forcing a couple to confront the property's haunting past. (Gary Reber)

Special features include commentary with Director Osgood Perkins, teaser and trailer.

The 1.85:1HEVC/H.265 Ultra HD HDR10 picture, reviewed reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed digitally and sourced from a 4K master Digital Intermediate format. The setting is a cabin in the forest. The imagery shifts from the interior to the exterior woods. Color fidelity exhibits natural saturated hues that appear warm. At times, Liz's red sweater is strongly saturated. The wood colors also exhibits warmth. Flesh tones are naturally hued. SDR contrast is excellent. Black levels are deep. Shadow delineation reveals dark shading. White level appear realistic. Resolution is generally soft though visually appealing. Facial features are softly focused. Structural features of the cabin provide generally satisfying definition though still slightly soft, Object textures also are softly focused. The woods appear natural with brownish trees, green foliage, and realistic water flows. The horrific imagery throughout is very spooked-induced with scary emotional anxiety. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack is dynamic sounding with a music score that is creepy for the most part. Atmospherics sound realistic. Sound effects provide bursts of transient impact enhanced with deep bass energy and at times .1 LFE intensity. Foley sound effects follow Liz's footsteps with thudding sounds. Dialogue is intelligible but forward sounding. This is a heavy dialogue focused holosonic® soundtrack that delivers horrific anxieties. (Gary Reber)
