The 1.85:1 1080p picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed and sourced from a 4K master Digital Intermediate format. The setting is a remote countryside residence and surrounding woods with an old cave and mysterious chapel ruins. Picture quality is good. The color palette appears natural with saturated forestry greens and highlights of the house, furnishings and the characters. Colors appear natural. Flesh tones are realistic. Contrast projects deep blacks, dark and revealing shadows. and natural luminance. Resolution is revealing of detail in facial features, the horrific visual special effects, clothing fabrics and structures and objects. This is a movie that builds and builds with horrific fear and tension. (Gary Reber)

While the theatrical soundtrack was Dolby Atmos this release is limited to a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack. While the production tends to be dialogue focused, the surrounding sonics build with eeriness and are supported with intense sound effects supported with deep bass and .1 LFE energy. Foley sound effects are realistic. The synthesizer score is haunting with an eeriness and wide dynamic sound quality. Atmospherics are haunting. Surround envelopment is aggressive and fills the sound field with intensity. Dialogue is intelligible though ADR produced and at times wanting in more natural spatial integration. The holosonic® soundtrack perfectly enhances the mysterious proceedings. (Gary Reber)
