The 1.85:1 2160p HEVC/H.265 Ultra HD Dolby Vision/HDR10 picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed on 35 mm film using the Arriflex 35 IIA camera system and sourced from a 4K master Digital Intermediate format derived from a restoration from the original camera negative by Arrow Films. The picture is sharp and clear and very filmic in appearance. Film grain is smooth and never objectionable. Set in New York City, both in interior and exterior environments. The color palette is nicely saturated with warm and rich hues,, often popping such as Thana's red lipstick and building facade signage. Production design is excellent and realistic, especially the street scenes. Flesh tones appear natural. HDR contrast is excellent with impressive lighting luminance. Black levels appear natural and deep with texture. Shadows appear realistic, Resolution is quite good with fine detail exhibited in facial features such as skin pores, lines, beard stubble and hair. Clothing fabrics are detailed throughout. Structural features reveal texture as well as objects. This is very satisfying visual experience that exhibits realism throughout. (Gary Reber)

The PCM 2.0 monaural soundtrack delivers dialogue that is clear and intelligible throughout. The music effectively punches through. Atmospherics reflect the sounds of a bustling city. While monaural and thus limited in sound design, the sonics are satisfying, (Gary Reber)
