The 1.78:1 2160p HEVC/H.265 4K Ultra HD HDR10 picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was animated digitally and sourced from a 4K Digital Intermediate. As with Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths Part Three, the animation style is essentially a copy of previous "Tomorrowverse" movies with an attractive color palette, textural detail and HDR contrast. Colors are rich. Black levels are solid. White levels appear natural. Resolution is excellent with crisp line structures. The drawing of shadows are effective, The picture exhibits line sharpness and clarity but otherwise there is no fine detail exhibited in the color shading of environments, objects or characters and horses. This is a pleasing picture with a captivating line drawing presentation. (Gary Reber)
The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack is dynamic sounding with with good definition and fidelity. The ADR dialogue features deep voiced male voices. Along with the ADR production are sound effects library sounds, often supported with deep, powerful bass that extends to sub-25 Hz. Environmental sounds are effective in the formulation of the production design. Surround energy is nicely aggressive. The orchestral score occupies a wide and deep soundstage presence that extends aggressively to the surrounds. This is a nicely crafted holosonic® soundtrack. (Gary Reber)
