The repurposed Dolby Atmos/Dolby TrueHD 7.1-channel soundtrack is dynamic sounding with intense bombastic battle scenes and explosions, and other sound effects that drive the action with aggressive surround envelopment. Atmospherics sound realistic as well as Foley sound effects. Sound effects are often intense and supported with deep sub-25 Hz bass in the .1 LFE channel. The orchestral score is a prominent active sound element that envelops the soundfield with a wide and deep soundstage and aggressive surround presence. Stereo imaging is excellent with discrete surround localization. Dialogue is generally well integrated spatially.
The Immersive Sound element is comprised of an aggressive extension of the orchestral score, helicopters, environmental atmospherics, intense drone attack sound effects, explosions, debris scatter, evil person disguised voice and shouting voice, sirens and more. This is a very effective height layer, which nicely enhances spatial dimensionality.
This is an intensely dynamic holosonic® spherical surround soundtrack with excellent dimensionality and exciting action sound effects. (Gary Reber)
