The 1.78:1 2160p HEVC/H.265 4K Ultra HD HDR10 picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was animated digitally and sourced from a 4K Digital Intermediate. Picture quality is excellent with a colorful palette that is stylized with diverse and nuanced hues. Different time travel destination exhibit different color schemes. The imagery is sharp and clear throughout with crisp line drawings of character features and the settings they interact with. HDR contrast is excellent with deep, solid black levels, animated shadows and brilliant white levels. The contrasts are visually captivating. Resolution is superb with respect to line detail, which is often complex. This is a colorful contrasted picture that is dynamic visually. Fans will love the animation. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack is dynamic sounding with aggressive action sequences that are supported with deep bass and sharp transients. Sound effects are diverse and effective and support the action. The orchestral score occupies a wide and deep soundstage with aggressive extension to the surrounds. ADR dialogue is intelligible and at times directionalized. Fidelity is excellent throughout. This is a well-crafted holosonic® soundtrack that nicely complements the picture. (Gary Reber)
