In "Unwelcome," a couple escapes their urban nightmare to the tranquility of rural Ireland only to hear stories of mysterious beings who live in the guarded ancient wood in the front of their new garden. As warned by their neighbors, in Irish fore the Redcaps will come when called to help out in dire need of rescue, but it's crucial to remember that there is always a dear price to pay for their aid. (Gary Reber)

Special features include a behind-the-scenes featurette (HD 12:48), the "Making The Redcaps" featurette (HD 05:24), trailer and upfront previews.

The 2.39:1 1080p picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed digitally in anamorphic Panavision® using Panavision cameras and sourced from a 2K master Digital Intermediate format. The picture appears very natural with a realistic color palette that is nicely balanced with excellent textural shadings. Flesh tones are naturally hued. Contrast is well balanced with natural black levels, revealing shadows and natural white levels. Resolution is revealing of fine detail in facial features,, clothing and object textures. This is a fine looking picture that is well crafted. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack is dynamic with numerous nuance sonics. The orchestral score is presented with a wide soundstage that extends aggressively to the surrounds. Surround directionality is often present as subtle but effective sonics. Atmospherics enhance the realism of the settings. Sound effects are effectively horrific. Deep bass extends to sub-25 Hz for powerful effects support. This is a well-crafted thriller soundtrack with excellent dynamic holosonic® elements. (Gary Reber)
