"Cinerella" is a musically driven bold new take on the classic fairytale. Our ambitious heroine (Camila Cabello) has big dreams and with the help of her Fab Godmother, she persevere to make them come true. (Gary Reber)

Special features include a gag reel (HD 02:46), upfront previews and a Movies Anywhere digital copy.

The 2.39:1 1080p AVC picture, reviewed on a Sony Bravia Z9D 4K Ultra HD HDR display, upconverted to 2160p with greater resolution and luminance, was photographed digitally in anamorphic Panavision® using the Arri Alexa SXT and Red Monstro 8K and sourced from a 4K master Digital Intermediate format. The movie was made at London's Pinewood Studios. The production design is visually engaging. The color palette is dazzling and strongly saturated, Colors are brilliant, rich and warm. Fabrics are extremely colorful. Flesh tones retain naturalness throughout. Contrast is excellent with stunning highlights, deep blacks and revealing shadows. Resolution is superb with fine detail that jumps off the screen in facial features, clothing, environments, buildings and structural objects. The royal ball is especially colorful with gorgeous ladies gowns that pop. This is a very colorful presentation that lights up the screen in every frame. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack is quite dynamic sounding with a superbly recorded music that is modern and rhythmic. While the theatrical release was Dolby Atmos, this mix is strictly ear level. The music fills the soundstage wide and deep with an aggressive surround presence that completely envelops the soundfield. After all, this is a musical with terrific singing on the part of the cast. Bass frequencies enhance the rhythmic segments of the music. The ensemble singing and music is terrifically engaging, Ashley Wallen's choreography is wonderful. When speaking actual dialogue spatial integration sounds well positioned in the soundstage. This is a most unusual and fresh telling of the classic story told through a masterful recorded musical presentation, which is quite compelling. (Gary Reber)
