    "Possessor Uncut" follows an elite assassin who uses brain-implant technology to possess civilians and execute priority targets. Elite corporate assassin Tasya Vos (Riseborough) takes control of other people's bodies to execute her targets. As she sinks deeper into her latest assignment, Vos becomes trapped inside a mind that threatens to obliterate her. (Gary Reber)

    The 1.78:1 2160p HEVC/H.265 Ultra HD HDR10/Dolby Vision picture, reviewed on a Sony Bravia Z9D 4K Ultra HD HDR display, was photographed digitally using the Arri Alexa camera system and sourced from a 4K master Digital Intermediate format. This stylized presentation exhibits an intentionally uneven color palette varying from natural to frequently saturated orangish hues. There is a wide spectrum of hues with varying fleshtone renderings. HDR contrast, while fluctuating, exhibits solid, deep blacks, revealing shadow delineation, and bright highlights. Resolution is good and often quite revealing, though, inconsistent. This is an unusually compelling kaleidoscopic visual experience. (Gary Reber)

    The DTS-HD Master Audio™ Digital 5.1-channel soundtrack is dynamic sounding with a virtually constant din in the background and segments of deep, powerful bass that extends to sub-25 Hz. The sounds are well crafted to enhance the sense of reality and non-reality. The synthesizer score is haunting and occupies the soundstage, extending aggressively to the surrounds. Scenes of killing are intense in sonics. Sound effects are prevalent throughout. Atmospherics are comprised of ambient environmental effects. Dialogue is generally intelligible and integrated.
