In "Johnny English Strikes Again," when a cyber-attack reveals the identity of all active undercover agents in Britain, the country's only hope is called out of retirement. English's (Atkinson) new mission is his most critical to date––to catch the mastermind hacker. A man with few skills and analog methods, English must overcome the challenges of modern technology––or his newest mission will become the Secret Service's last. (Gary Reber)

Special features include commentary with Director David Kerr; seven featurettes: "The Comedy Genius Of Rowan Atkinson" (HD 04:58), "The Johnny English Legacy" (HD 05:06), "Virtual Reality Johnny English Style" (HD 04:14), "The Gadgets" (HD 06:08), "The Cars" (HD 05:07), "Locations And Design" (HD 04:03) and "A Cast Of Characters" (HD 07:12); upfront previews; and a Movies Anywhere digital copy code.

The 2.39:1 1080p AVC picture, reviewed on a Sony Bravia Z9D 4K Ultra HD HDR display, upconverted to 2160p with greater resolution and luminance, was photographed digitally using the Red Epic Dragon camera system and sourced from a 2K master Digital Intermediate format. The picture is terrific with an excellent dynamic contrast and superb clarity. Contrast reveals deep black levels and bright highlights with excellent shadow delineation. Color fidelity is perfectly natural with saturated hues that often pop. Hues are varied and nicely contrasted. Primaries are brilliant. Bright lighting is nicely used in the production design and sets off the rich and warm coloring. Fleshtones appear always accurate. Resolution is excellent with fine detail exhibited throughout in facial features, skin pores, hair, clothing fabrics, and object textures. This is a vibrantly colorful and sharp picture. (Gary Reber)

The DTS:X/DTS-HD Master Audio™ 7.1-channel soundtrack is quite vibrant with good dynamic range from nuances to bold bursts. The orchestral score is active and beautifully recorded with a wide and deep soundstage that extends aggressively to the surrounds with superb dynamics. Instrumental textures are articulate. Deep bass sounds natural and provides support for sound effects action. Sound effects are quite prevalent throughout, and atmospherics provide realism. Dialogue is consistently natural sounding with good spatial integration.

The Immersive Sound element features a very active extension of the orchestral score and fills the height layer fully.

This is a fun soundtrack with excellent fidelity and effective holosonic® spherical surround that perfectly complements the comedic storytelling. (Gary Reber)
