    Lucy (Johansson) is a woman altered by a dangerous drug that allows her to use 100 percent of her brain, transforming into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.

    Special features include the featurettes The Evolution Of Lucy (HD 16:14) and Cerebral Capacity: The True Science Of Lucy (HD 10:04), upfront previews, and an UltraViolet digital copy.

    The 2.39:1 1080p AVC picture is beautifully saturated with strong colorful hues and primaries that pop. The visual impact of the imagery is exciting and stimulating. Hues are warm and rich with vivid visualization. Contrast is well balanced with deep, solid blacks and revealing shadow delineation, which enhances the sense of dimensionality. Fleshtones are naturally hued with perfect accuracy. Resolution is excellent with fine detail exhibited throughout in facial features, hair, clothing, and object texture. This is a terrifically visually stimulating motion picture that is reference quality throughout.

    The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is a dynamic powerhouse, with powerful, deep bass extension to sub-25 Hz frequencies in the .1 LFE channel. Surround envelopment is aggressively active with directionalized sonics that define the expansive soundfield. Sound effects are prevalent throughout, which are directionalized and often effectively accompanied by an intense dynamically engaging music score. Atmospherics also are effectively defining. The music score, with choral elements, is expansive, with a wide and deep sound stage that aggressively extends to the surrounds. Dialogue is consistently intelligible and nicely integrated spatially. This is an impressive holosonic® soundtrack that delivers a powerfully dynamic presence and experience that is reference quality.
