The 1080p AVC picture is absolutely gorgeous. Colors are vibrant, with rich and warm hues that pop. Blacks are solid and deep. Contrast is also nicely rendered, with finely defined shadows. Resolution reveals fine facial features and textures in clothes and buildings. Fleshtones are perfectly natural and reveal fine gradations of complexions. There are no glaring artifacts, for an overall pristine image. This is a terrific-looking picture, with a natural character throughout. Visually, the cinematography is compelling and appealing for a sure-to-please experience. (Gary Reber)

The Dolby® TrueHD 5.1-channel soundtrack is terrific, with an impressive dynamic spread from soft nuances to powerful SPL output. Bass extension is deep and energized below 25 Hz in the .1 LFE channel. Dialogue is nicely integrated spatially in every scene. The music score is beautifully recorded and reveals fine instrumental timbres. The music is wide and deep with the frontal soundstage, and extends deep into the surrounds. Sound effects are often powerful and directionalized, for an impressive effect. The sound is holosonic® and often exciting. This is an impressive soundtrack experience that enhances the intrigue and storytelling in a compelling way. (Gary Reber)
