"Powder Blue" chronicles the destinies of four people desperate for connection and redemption. On the eve of Christmas, an overwhelmed erotic dancer (Biel), a greiving husband who has lost his will to live (Whitaker), a terminally ill ex-con (Liotta), and a pathologically shy mortician (Redmayne) cross paths by past guilt, chance, coincidence, and divine intervention. Each of them is desperately searching for redemption, human connection, and restored faith within the underbelly of Los Angeles. And when morning sheds light, their lives will have been woven together by a miracle, where death is the inevitable hope and love is why we choose to live. (Gary Reber)
