Longshots, The

in "The Longshots," Curtis Plummer (Ice Cube) steps in as a surrogate father for his fatherless teenaged niece Jasmine (Palmer). But how do you build a relationship with someone you don't have anything in common with? When Curtis accidentally discovers that his niece shows a natural talent for the one interest he holds dear—football, he decides to hone Jasmine's skills as a quarterback for a pathetic local Pop Warner team.
