Visiting the Special Features menu is an enormous waste of time, unless you want to select one of your three audio choices. (Dear DVD International: the Special Features menu for this DVD should be called Audio Options.)
DVD Picture:
The high-resolution images found on this anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibit colors that are nicely rendered. Because these are stationary photographs, the picture appears somewhat flat, but images are sharp and breathtaking. Some shimmering, pixelization, and aliasing problems are noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
The 5.1 discrete soundtracks have been mastered at much higher than film reference level, and some distortion can be noticed. The audio consists of atmospheric effects and a music score that substantially fills the listening space, with ample deep bass extension, along with aggressive LFE activity. The Dolby
