Set amidst the tensions between North and South Korea, Shiri opens with agents in a North Korean spy school. The school's committed leader, Park Mu Young (Minsik) singles out the beautiful Lee Bang Hee (Yunjin), an ace student and an expert shot, for a top-secret mission. Years later, South Korean scientists working on a top-secret defense project are mysteriously being murdered.
