DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 (or 1.85:00, if you trust the jacket) DVD picture exhibits sharp and nicely detailed images, with excellent contrast and shadow delineation. Colors are rich and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Clarity and definition are quite satisfying. Edge enhancement, when present, can be a problem. The source element is revealing of some minor dirt. (Suzanne Hodges)The DVD includes a modified 1.33:1 version (not reviewed) on the disc
