DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced and windowboxed 1.66:1 DVD can be of pleasing image quality. Colors are generally well balanced, with nicely rendered fleshtones and generally deep blacks. While images have a slightly soft, hazy appearance, detail can be nicely rendered. Edge enhancement can be bothersome at times. Adding to a somewhat dated appearance is some film grain and occasional artifacts revealed from the source element. (Suzanne Hodges)
