    Story Synopsis:
    From the novel Gather Sky by Devery Freeman,

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a generally pleasing picture, with images that are sharp, but slightly smeared and lacking in fine definition. Colors are rich and warm, bordering oversaturation at times. Otherwise, fleshtones appear to be accurately rendered and blacks are deep and undefined. Contrast seems a bit low, and visual information is lacking in the darker scenes. There is some dirt revealed in the source element. Minor edge enhancement and pixelization are detected.
