  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Car crashes abound in The Junkman as the story unfolds a deadly assassin

DVD Picture:
The 1.78:1 DVD is not anamorphically enhanced, and the picture is generally sharp and nicely detailed, but contrast can seem a bit low at times. Colors are rich and vibrant, with bold hues, accurate fleshtones, and deep blacks. Exterior scenes in bright light are often hazy in appearance. There are few distractions in the way of edge enhancement and pixelization. The source element is revealing of occasional film grain, dirt, and artifacts, but overall the picture is quite clean.
