DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits images that often appear smeared and undefined, with noticeable loss of detail. There is shimmering and minor aliasing detected. Colors are rich and nicely balanced, with generally deep blacks. Contrast seems a bit low, limiting detail, but AC/DC fans should be thrilled with the performance and not too concerned with image quality. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
Both 5.1-channel soundtracks deliver standout surround sound mixes, with certainly the feel of being at a live concert, yet also being tastefully immersed within the music, through a well-crafted holosonic soundfield. You are very likely to avoid having the volume set at or close to reference level, due to the high level at which the audio was mastered.
