Subscribe FreeBased upon the comic book by Daniel Clowes, Ghost World is a hysterically snide and sarcastic look at what to do with yourself after high school (other than attend college). Enid (Birch) is cynical about her future and bummed she needs to take a summer art class to get her diploma, while her best friend, Rebecca (Johansson), is going along with whatever or whoever Enid wants to torment. But when Enid finds a kindrid spirit in an oddball loner (Buscemi) more than twice her age, Rebecca becomes disgusted and feels threatened that their lifelong friendship is as over as high school!
