    Story Synopsis:
    Based on a true story (of writer/director

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture is generally sharp and nicely detailed, though occasionally images appear slightly smeared. There is some loss of detail that is consistent with the look of noise reduction. Colors are rich and well balanced, with nicely rendered fleshtones and deep blacks. Edge enhancement is occasionally detected. The source element is revealing of some dirt and artifacts, as well as some film grain. Despite some pixelization and shimmering details, the picture is nicely rendered. (Suzanne Hodges)
