Story Synopsis:
The Doctor (Cushing) returns to set out for the future in this sequel to Dr. Who And The Daleks! This time, the remarkable Doctor and his companions use the T.A.R.D.I.S. to travel to the Earth
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD picture exhibits slightly soft images and generally good detail. Colors can be rich and nicely balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks, but certainly have a dated quality. The source element is revealing of some film grain and artifacts. Edge enhancement is occasionally noticed, but pixelization is not a problem. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
Like Dr. Who And The Daleks, the Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtrack is big fat mono. When Pro Logic-decoded, the audio is properly placed in the center channel. The audio sounds nicely restored with remarkably low background noise. The noticeable limitations to the soundtrack are the dated fidelity and inherent distortion. (Perry Sun)
