The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits generally sharp images that can also be somewhat undefined at times. Colors are nicely saturated, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Contrast appears to be well balanced. The picture has a "hard" appearance, with evident edge enhancement, and there is some shimmering and pixelization also detected.
